Penthouse in Spinea

Lighting in a penthouse in Venice: continuous light and architecture in the spotlight

We handled the implementation of the new lighting system for a penthouse in Venice, located in the center of Spinea, with a project designed to solve architectural constraints and enhance the spaces in an elegant and contemporary way.

The lighting intervention for this penthouse in Venice arises from a very specific issue: the presence of a wooden roof that made it difficult to install suspended light points in the desired positions.

Atmosphere, depth and visual comfort

The light, distributed along the perimeter, creates an enveloping and uniform effect, capable of visually expanding the spaces and enhancing the wooden roof structure without weighing it down.

The dimmable system also allows the light intensity to be adjusted, adapting the environment to different moments of the day and always creating the desired atmosphere.

A project that demonstrates how, even in the presence of architectural constraints, a targeted lighting design can transform limitations into aesthetic opportunities.

Do you have a penthouse or a complex space to light?

Let’s talk: we design tailored solutions to enhance every space, even in the presence of structural constraints, with an effective and refined lighting project.

A design solution that breaks the mould

To overcome this limitation, an alternative solution was developed based on a continuous perimeter lighting system. The J1L module was used along the entire perimeter of the flat, providing over 40 linear metres of dimmable lighting.

This choice eliminated the need for suspended fixtures, whilst maintaining a clean, uncluttered look and aesthetic consistency.
